Daytona Beach is located in Volusia County on the east coast of Florida on the Atlantic Ocean. Daytona’s weather is fantastic. It’s warm in the winter and cooler than most places in the country during the summer. The cool refreshing breezes off the ocean keep the temperature and humidity down. You often need a jacket on the beach in the late summer.
Daytona Beach is home to Daytona Internataional Speedway and hosts Sprint Cup races and Grand National races in February and July. The Daytona 500 starts the racing season and is quite a spectacle. Everyone should go to at least one race.
Bikers come to Daytona in the spring and the fall. Bike Week runs for about two weeks from February 27th to March 9th in 2009 and Biketoberfest will run from October October 18th through the 21st in 2008, but many people come earlier and stay later.

Daytona Beach Homes range from price from well under $100,000 to well over $1,000,000. This is an amazing thing about the Daytona area. There are houses available in every price range for every taste. You can get more home here than just about any other beach town in America.
Daytona Beach Condos are great for vacation homes and second homes, but many people choose the easy condo living for the year round home. There are many condos on the beachside that are very affordable. Along A1A to the north of Ormond Beach are many buildings with 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo units for under $150,000. Just walk over the road and you’re standing on the white sand beaches.
